See how to fix it

Your 8 fixes are below.

What to fix first

Ranked by how much each one should help AI find you and trust you.

  1. 01

    Your site's code doesn't say you're a local business

The site has basic business code (usually added by an SEO plugin), but not the local version with the address, phone, hours and services that local AI answers look for.

Add a short block of business details to your site's code, matching what your pages already say.

  2. 02

The portfolio is hard to interpret

Cited didn't find both a real portfolio and clear text saying what kind of photography you do.

Group your real work into one page per specialty, each with a clear heading, a few words per photo, where you work and how to book.

  3. 03

    No Google Business Profile found

Cited could not find a Google Business Profile for Juniper Frame Studio in Austin, Texas. AI answers for local services lean on these profiles.

Complete the Google Business Profile: categories, description, hours, website, photos, reviews and services.

Fix 1 of 8 is free below. A plan unlocks the other 7.

Your fixes, step by step

01

Add your business details to your site's code

Confirm facts

Add a short block of business details to your site's code, matching what your pages already say.

Why it helps: AI tools read this hidden code to confirm what Juniper Frame Studio does, that you work in Austin, Texas and when you're open, instead of guessing from your pages.

Done when: your web person has put the code on your homepage and checked it. The next check confirms it for you.

What you do

  1. 1Send this to whoever runs your website. It's a short piece of code that tells Google and AI tools your business name, services, area and hours.
  2. 2They paste it into your homepage. It takes about 15 minutes and changes nothing your customers see.
  3. 3Your next check confirms it is on your homepage.
Show the code for your web person

Not sure what this is? Send it to your web person. If you edit the site yourself, paste it inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag in the <head> of your homepage.

Notes for your web person

  • Paste this once, on the homepage. It is invisible to visitors; it tells Google and AI tools your name, phone, address, hours and services.
  • Every detail in it must also be visible on your site. Google ignores, and can penalise, markup that says things the page does not.
  • Your site already has Organization markup, usually from Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO. Keep it: this block adds the local details it lacks. In Yoast or Rank Math you can also switch the site type to a local business.
  • Replace each [ADD: ...] value with your real details before pasting. If you hide your street address on Google because you go to customers, delete the streetAddress line instead.
  • No hours were found, so they are left out. Add your hours to the site and Google Business Profile first.
  • Optional extras your web person can add if you know them: geo (latitude and longitude to 5 decimal places), priceRange (e.g. "$$"), and a logo or photo URL.
  • Do not add star ratings to this code. Google does not show stars for a business's own markup, and copying your Google rating into it breaks Google's review rules.
  • If your site already has a LocalBusiness block (Yoast Local SEO, Rank Math Local SEO, or a theme setting), update that one instead of adding a second.
  • Check it after publishing at https://search.google.com/test/rich-results or https://validator.schema.org.

What they have that you don't

We read the sites of the businesses AI named most and compared them with yours. We only show a gap when we checked the same thing on both sites.

South Congress Stories

southcongressstories.example

Named in 18 answers
  1. Their site spells out their business details for AI; yours doesn't

The South Congress Stories website has hidden code that tells AI who they are, what they do and where. We found none on the pages we read on your site.

Add the business details code from this report, using only facts your site already shows.

  2. They have pages for the areas they serve

South Congress Stories has 1 service-area or neighbourhood page among the pages we read. We found none on your site, so AI has less to connect you to a specific area.

Publish one real page per area you actually serve, with local details, not a copied template.

  3. They publish their hours clearly

The South Congress Stories website states their hours in a form AI tools can read. We couldn't find the same on yours, which makes “who's open, who can I call” answers harder to give about you.

Show your hours as text on every page and add it to your business details code.

Fieldlight Photo Co.

fieldlight.example

Named in 14 answers
  1. They have dedicated pages for each service

Of the pages we read, Fieldlight Photo Co. has 3 dedicated service pages; your site has none. AI answers quote pages that match the service a buyer asked about.

Give your top 2 or 3 services their own page with what's included, the area served and how to book.

  2. Their site spells out their business details for AI; yours doesn't

The Fieldlight Photo Co. website has hidden code that tells AI who they are, what they do and where. We found none on the pages we read on your site.

Add the business details code from this report, using only facts your site already shows.

  3. They publish their hours clearly

The Fieldlight Photo Co. website states their hours in a form AI tools can read. We couldn't find the same on yours, which makes “who's open, who can I call” answers harder to give about you.
