How do I send fixes to my web person?
On the Fixes page, choose the fixes, then Send to my web person, and enter up to three email addresses. They get a plain-language brief with the copy-ready changes, and their replies come to you.
- Open Fixes and pick the fixes you want done.
- Choose Send to my web person.
- Enter up to three email addresses and send.
They get one email from us with each fix explained in plain words and the exact text or code to paste. The email says it came from you, and replies go straight to you, not to us.
Keeping track
Sent fixes show as With your web person. When they're published, mark them as applied. The next weekly check reads your site and marks each one Verified once it's live.
Good to know
- Sending fixes is part of the paid plans, and you need to have confirmed your own email address first.
- To prevent misuse, you can send 5 times a day, to up to 5 different people in a month.
- Each person can opt out of further emails with one click. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of their address.
- You can always copy a fix and send it yourself instead.
- We will never ask you for your website password, and you should never paste one into Cited.
