Which Gemini do you check?
Gemini's consumer answers, through a third-party search-data provider, scoped to your city or region where the provider supports it. We never substitute a developer model API.
Is Gemini the same as Google AI Overviews?
No. Both come from Google, but they are different surfaces and can name different businesses. Every Cited scan checks both, plus ChatGPT Search, with the same 12 buyer questions.
Why would Gemini name a competitor and not me?
Usually because the pages and listings it reads describe them more clearly: services, service area, hours, reviews and third-party mentions. The report shows the sources behind each answer and turns the gaps into copy-ready fixes.
Why can the score change?
AI answers change from one run to the next, and with the wording, the location and the day. A Cited score is a dated snapshot that shows how many answers it counts, not a permanent rank.
